Hello!  Quilt Mercantile hopes this email finds you creating QUILTS!  If you have ever wondered if you would like to quilt your own projects; we have a one day or a two day class that gives you a chance to "take a test drive!"  to see if you like it.  If you are a long arm owner; we have eight class options for you---invest in yourself and take a couple classes!  To see more about each class go to www.quiltagiousquarters.com and look through our calendar in September.  (when I add links the email gets blocked more often)

 

PLEASE reply to this email with any questions for long arm classes, retreats, or regular classes.  If you have a group looking for a place to have a group retreat in 2027; we have a few options throughout the year.  I am happy to send you all the information!

 

 

Sept 15th or 19th -- Silver star quilt with custom quilting($65 plus supplies)—Perfect for those familiar with Pro Stitcher and now you want to learn about custom quilting shapes/blocks.  Pro Stitcher can do SO MUCH easily!  class on 19th is FULL

 

Sept 16th —Longarm troubleshooting--FULL

 

Sept 17th —TWO MAKE & TAKE BAGS.....Lori Holt Zippy bags and longarm tote($65 plus supplies)—Perfect for new owners and those wanting to dabble a little in customizing with Pro Sticher (not required but offered); learn some new skills like cropping shapes out of edge to edge design, adding zippers, piecing on long arm, and make some quick gifts for family or organizations when they are doing a craft fair and you need quick gifts in bulk.  

 

Sept 18th -- Speed dating with longarm techniques($65)—try out lots of feet and special techniques.  Six stations will be set up

 

Sept 22nd —Quilt your top in a day($75).  Perfect for anyone-new owners or someone that has never touched a long arm!  If you don't own a long arm this is a great time to test drive the process and get a small top quilted for less!  Owners would you like to streamline the process of edge-to-edge quilting with Pro Stitcher?  Gain some confidence!

 

Sept 23rd -- FULL Pro Stitcher beyond the basics with national HQ educator Loretta Morris($99)  (This session will also work with the silver star sample for Loretta's teaching instructions)—take advantage of all the experience offered by this national educator.

 

Sept 24th -- Brilliant Borders(AM-$50)  Use pro stitcher & built in designs to create!

Troubleshooting and Tension with Deven and national educator Loretta Morris (PM-$50) This class will help you stay away from the "long arm doctor!"

 

Sept 25th and 26th – Learn to quilt on a longarm($149)-non owners.  This is your day to take a two day test drive!  Need a place to stay overnight?  We have a couple spots open at our retreat center if you live to far to drive back Saturday morning.  Be one of the first to grab a spot!!!  Long Arming is a great adventure!

 

 

October 7th-11th  OPEN UFO retreat that has five openings.

 

November 1st pm arrival-4th Eileen Urbanek teacher paper piecing OR many other options.  See reteat calendar for description.

 

December 3rd-6th  Quilted Jacket retreat with Pam Patton.  Use a sweatshirt to create your own masterpiece  OR  you can also join this weekend to sit n sew on any UFO and not participate in the class.  Email for more information.  Great time to finish Christmas projects or just to get away.
