Quilt Mercantile FINAL HandiQuilter truck event Class scheduled for tomorrow
Fall is just around the corner! Cooler weather is a wonderful thing. We are wrapping up our Handi Quilter Truck Event. Jackie Brown has a Pro Stitcher intermediate level class tomorrow, September 9th, where you will use a digitized pattern and several Pro Stitcher tools/features to quilt a Hoffman Fabric's Dream Big Poinsettia panel (either color). This is an amazing project to learn that "next level" for using your Pro Stitcher. The skills used can be utilized on future projects to quilt your creations with a touch of custom work to avoid shapes in an edge to edge pattern or to use other digitized patterns for panels or pieced projects like so many of the wonderful Quiltworx creations. The event was a success! The Handi Quilter education frames were set up in our classroom for three weeks. We had 50+ individuals that took beginner to advanced classes using the Amara/Pro Stitcher machines. Two guilds came and quilted 20+ charity quilts in two days. We thank everyone for their interest in learning about long arm quilting.
We learned from Handi Quilter during our event that on October 1st there will be a 6% price increase due to the continuing supply chain price increases.
