Quilt Mercantile April Classes and Retreats plus 2022 info
We hope that you are enjoying the spring weather. We have so much going on...the concrete was poured yesterday for the new back wall to the south side downtown buildings for our expansion. Make sure you are checking in with our "Friends of Quilt Mercantile" Facebook page often. (want to join-email us and we will send you directions) We try hard to post new items there each week. Come see us for a class, a retreat, or just a day trip! Very soon we will announce our celebration event for the new Janome Combo Machine. More information releases tomorrow, April 20th and Deven will post it on our Facebook page. We will have our in-store demo at the same time as others around the country. Janome corporate is telling us that will be first part of May. Remember we sell and service Janome, Elna, Bernina and Handi Quilter machines. We want to be your dealer so remember to buy from Quilt Mercantile!!! Ask your fellow quilters...we will give you the best price and we have the best and quickest service department in DFW for sure! Ongoing education:
Longarm Teaching Tuesdays on Zoom featuring Jackie Brown take place every 3rd Tuesday. Cost is $45.00. Jackie Brown has a Zoom class this Tuesday, April 19th that will be demonstration on a Handi Quilter long arm machine. Class is from 4p-7p CST. Cost is $45. (Venmo for payment if joining today) The topic will be "Background fills-Why and how we use them" Here is an idea of what to expect: Stippling, crosshatching, pebbles, arches, and more. The Hoop Wranglers meet every 1st Wednesday of the month. Pamela Hansen shares machine embroidery tips and tricks each month. You are able to bring a project to ask advise from this experienced embroidery machine teacher. Sign up in advance is required. Cost is $10.00.
