Quilt Mercantile Winter 2020 class, retreats, and more

We start this new decade with excitement.  We are expanding our footprint in downtown Celeste (Repairs to older buildings don't go quickly but we are embracing this challenge head on).  With this expansion, our vision in 2020 is to become your main resource for fabrics, notions, books, sewing machines, long-arm machines, repair & maintenance of machines, and hands on education in classes and retreats.  BIG GOAL!  Our eighteen years of quilt store ownership will definitely help us move forward into this new decade to serve you, our valued customer.

We want to make sure that you know about several of the ongoing benefits of shopping in-store at Quilt Mercantile.  Since opening in 2002, we give 20% off retail on books and patterns.  We give 10% off retail on all bolted fabrics--even the newest lines as they arrive.  Our fabric prices are lower than anywhere in the metroplex on quality quilting fabrics.  We stock Hobbs batting on the roll.  Buying by the inch is more cost effective and you don't have to deal with the wrinkles!

We fully believe that successful piecing and quilting is the most fun when your machine is easy to use, reliable, and hassle free!  For fifteen plus years, we have been a Janome America dealer selling Elna sewing and embroidery machines and a Handi Quilter long arm retailer for ten plus years.  We service what we sell (plus select others).  We love these machines and we know you will too.  We are the only metroplex Handi Quilter dealer to do in-home long arm servicing.  In 2019 we became a sister store with Glenn of Texas Quiltworks in Rockwall; we now sell and service Berninas.  Deven is a certified Bernina technician and we use only genuine Bernina parts.  Reach out with any questions about machines or to set up your machine servicing appointment.  With the perfect well tuned machine, piecing and quilting is fun!

We encourage you to follow us on Facebook so you can stay up to date with our new arrivals.  We post pictures of fabrics, new samples, sewing machines, long arm products and much more.  In a world of Amazon that has contributed to many north Texas quilt store closings in 2019, we thank you for your continued support of our brick and mortar quilt store.  If you don't make the trip out to Celeste before March, stop by our booth at the Dallas Quilt Show in March.  Keep stitching....
Quilt Mercantile Classes/Retreats

We
have new classes on the calendar for several techniques.  For those of you who want more than a day to "escape from the world," we have retreats covering various projects.  Join a class or retreat and let an experienced teacher guide your creativity.  We strive to provide a variety of learning opportunities hoping to inspire you to branch out and learn new skills.  Our retreats and classes require payment (by a specific date) to sign up and hold your place.    This helps guarantee a full retreat/class for our amazing teachers.  Detailed information about our policies can be found in the FAQ section click here.  Use the retreat links to find out more information about each retreat.  Reply to this email with any questions or to check availability of space in these retreats.  We hope you are able to join at least one in 2020 so you can---relax and recuperate from the stresses of life while you expand your skills and gain new friendships!
