We hope you are enjoying the beautiful spring weather! As you travel this summer make sure to stop in to see our new store samples, new fabrics, and new books! Lynne is doing an excellent job keeping our Facebook page updated each week as new items arrive. If you have not joined our Facebook following, all you need to do is "like" our page and follow our store so you will see all our weekly posts.
We are eager for our next Lori Holt line to arrive in early June. You are sure to love her "Bee Happy Quilt Sew Along" that will start in August. Reserve your kit today--our cost for fabric kit is $189.98 and Vintage trim kit is $21.95. We have her current "Sweetie Pie Sew Along" project hanging up in our classroom and we have a few kits available. These fabrics and projects are fun and happy!
The new Moda western line "Howdy" is due to arrive in a few weeks. Many of you have admired our cowboy and cowgirl doll samples made from the panel in this fabric line. We look forward to making additional samples with this great new line of fabric.
We have a metallic Christmas project coming from a line by Robert Kaufman. It has a beautiful metallic tree panel. You are sure to love it!
Below are some retreats we have remaining for 2017. If you have an embroidery machine that you have not been using....join one of the three retreats by Brenda Jeschke. She doesn't care which brand of embroidery machine. Alice Wilhoit has two retreats. Her retreats cover piecing and applique quilts from A-Z! If you have always wanted to paper piece, Eileen Urbanek comes twice a year. We have a waiting list but just maybe you will be able to obtain a spot and learn from this master of Judy Niemeyer patterns. Pearl Pereira of P3 Designs comes twice a year and has a total of four retreats each year. She teaches off the block applique. Add your name to her backup list. October may end up with a few openings. Jackie Brown just completed a great retreat weekend for machine quilting with domestic and sit-down unit machines. The group picked another weekend to spend learning from this master of quilting! If you are interested in quilting for a weekend without a teacher, we have an "Open" retreat weekend August 18th-20th. Grab a friend and join the group or come all by yourself!
