Create beautiful quilting designs using swags, clam shells, ovals, arcs and half circles. Then discover endless ideas for filling internal and external spaces with additional designs.
How do I Quilt it? Thurs. Nov. 6th 1:30-4:30 for $40. Largely a collaborative class, this is an opportunity to bring quilt tops that have you stumped and leave with multiple design options. Learn how to select, resize, preview and apply designs: explore border options; and discover new design resources. Give your quilt tops new life with designs just waiting to hop on. Please Bring your Unquilted tops for group discussion. Open to long arms and sit-down units.
Start with a Stencil Friday Nov. 7th 9:30-12:30 for $40. Transform a basic stencil design from ho hum to extraordinary. Watch the skeleton come to life as you add extended and secondary designs, fills and special effects. Learn to make your own stencils as well as useful tips for marking your quilts.
Creative Textures and Fills Friday Nov. 7th 1:30-4:30 for $40. Once you learn rulers, you won't want to miss this class. Fills are creative design elements used to quilt the background and empty spaces of a primary quilting or block design. Whether elegant, whimsical, structured , or meandering, there is a style to compliment every space.
Rule Your Quilt Saturday Nov. 8th 9:30-12:30 for $40. If you are hesitant about using rulers, you will love them after this class. Learn to handle rulers and templates safely and properly with the ruler base, as well as how to work with rulers to achieve amazing designs.
