Do you own a sewing/embroidery machine, but only us the sewing portion of the machine? Now is the time to start using the embroidery side and combining it with your quilting projects. During this embroidery retreat you will learn some basic information that will improve your embroidery skills and projects.
Basic Supplies/requirements needed:
embroidery machine with 5x7 hoop---minimum power cord for machine embroidery foot for machine plastic gridded template for 5x7 hoop bobbins with 60wt. bobbin thread for machine 75/11 or 80/12 machine embroidery needles your media for your machine either the USB drive or reader card Machine embroidery threads Machine embroidery adhesive spray basic tool kit (should include curved-tip scissors, Angled scissors,snag nab-it tool, Pin point tweezers, bobbins, etc.) owner’s manual for your machine medium weight tearaway stabilizer medium weight cutaway stabilizer embroidery thread embroidery machine needles pencil and paper for notes USB drive less than 2GB
Also remember to always bring adhesive spray, along with basic embroidery supplies kit that should include – bobbins, tweezers, curved-tip scissors, slant-cut scissors, snag-nab-it tool, and remember machine hoop and power cord and embroidery foot
Thursday thru Sunday - bring your project to work on OR start a new project, the objective of this retreat is because it has been requested to have access to Brenda for assistance in what you want to work on or get started. Brenda will assist each person according to their need (and with use of waiting in line on dry erase board).
You have asked for it and now you have the opportunity to spend three to four days with Brenda to work on your project. Maybe you have a project you have wanted to start but was not really sure what the first step should be OR you are in the middle of a project and struggling to finish. During this retreat you will get assistance, advice, and suggestions to help you finish or give you the confidence to start your project. This is your chance to have Brenda assisting with personal projects.
