Just Jennifer Jacket, vest or Just Jennifer Jacket II retreat

You will need...a Just Jennifer pattern which is available at Quilt Mercantile. Patterns give supply list. (Pictured above is the vest pattern.) Optional: a $25 fabric kit which Jennie will bring to the retreat, an unwashed Jerzees brand sweatshirt in one size larger than you usually wear...Jennie has sweatshirts for $14.95 in black/navy/deep purple/lavender/hunter green/cream/washed green/chocolate, but she'll need to know ahead of time if you want her to bring one to the retreat for you. It's a good idea to have co-ordinating colors for your fabric and sweatshirt because some sweatshirt color might show through. You'll also need unwashed fabric which can come from your own stash...1/2 yard for cuff & binding and 7 or 8 fat quarters, wash-out glue (Allenes' glue baste it), thread to match and thread to contrast (contrast can be metallic), embellishments you may wish to add (crystals, lace, buttons), scissors/rotary cutter & board, machine to zig-zag and straight stitch, darning foot for machine. Jennie will bring a trunk show of jackets, vests and purses to show the range and variety that can be made. She will also have metallic threads and embellishments which you can purchase from her.
