Machine Quilting Retreat--team taught--Jackie Brown and Diane Loper

Jackie and Diane will teach custom quilting techniques in this three day retreat.
This retreat you will make a quilting techniques sampler.  We have two AWESOME quilting instructors at a great price.  Jackie Brown has taught numerous retreat and quilting classes for us. Click here for her profile.  She has more blue ribbons from quilting than she can count, and several Best Machine Quilting ribbons. With ten years of machine quilting, she has come up with many tips to share that can make the quilting process less stressful. She will teach you step by step on how to make different quilting designs.  Diann Loper is a National Educator for Handi Quilter.  Diane was a huge success at our November 2014 Handi Quilter Event.  Many attendees of these classes requested we have a retreat with Diann so there could be more time to learn and practice.  Click here for her profile.  Each teacher will show you EIGHT techniques using different Handi Quilter ruler templates.  If you do not own a sit down unit with a hopping foot, you will use the templates to draw out your quilting design and then you will go back a following these lines with your free motion foot.  You will need a piece of solid fabric that is at least 31 x 38 inches that will be divided into sixteen equal sections.  Black fabric with bright thread makes a great sample but feel free to pick whatever you prefer.
Supply List:
Your sewing machine and manual- your machine must have a hopping foot and the feed dogs must be able to drop.
OR your Sit down unit
