Handi Quilter hands-on with Susan Manry

Class 1

Pro-Stitcher Premium:  Everything E2E

Have you ever wished that you could work through the entire Edge-to-Edge process with an expert at your side?  Well, here is the chance you’ve been waiting for!

In this half-day session, you’ll load a small quilt, set up your quilt layout using the Repeat Basic and Wrap tools, and then you will stitch a row.  Next, you will advance your quilt simply and accurately using the Drag and Drop method.

You will learn to use the New Start/End tools to precisely reposition your pattern and understand exactly how to recover from any kind of interruption with ease!

Conquer your E2E fears once and for all, Quilters!

Class 2

Pro-Stitcher Premium:  Introduction to Custom Quilting

If the idea of custom quilting with Pro-Stitcher gives you the shivers, then this warm-up class is for you!

There is nothing like hands-on learning, Quilters, and in this session, you will learn from your Custom Quilting experience.  Students will place and stitch designs in blocks, triangles, sashing, and borders using PSP’s Modify tools, and see how the PSP Crop features can make your quilting truly shine.

With this class under your belt, you’ll be ready to skip the E2E on your next quilt and try a little custom quiltinginstead.

Class 3

Pro-Stitcher Premium:  Sunflower Love Wholecloth

It’s time to apply what you’ve learned in classes 1 and 2, Quilters.

Practical application of newly acquired learning helps create permanence.  In this session, students will use Susan Manry’s Sunflower Love design set to create a small wholecloth layout using the custom quilting tools.

Have fun learning and enjoy taking home your small project, to convert into a pillow, bag, or wall hanging.

Class 4

Adorable Shoulder Bag using HQ Pro-Stitcher

This little shoulder bag is perfect for your E-reader or small tablet computer.

You’ll learn about using Workspaces, and how to simultaneously manage multiple designs while you create this bag entirely on the frame.  Choose from the three design options, quilt the design, attach the strap, and then layer the remaining sections, leaving only a few inches of hand stitching to close the lining.

You’re going to love how easy it is to make this fat-quarter-friendly bag.  It’s the perfect way to finish our Quilt Mercantile hands-on longarm event and make an ideal gift for your quilting buddy, or just for you!
