Double Wedding Ring The Double Wedding Ring is one of the most easily recognized quilt designs in existence, but the curved seams may create quilt-making apprehension. Use the From Marti Michell Double Wedding Ring Template Set to accurately cut and mark the pieces and a careful 1/4” seam allowance to sew. Follow Marti’s tips and instructions and suddenly you’ll feel confidant. Remove the mystique of curved seams without gimmicks. Double Wedding Ring variations like Pickle Dish and Lafayette’s Orange Peel included. Fabric Requirements: Wallhanging top only The fabric supply list is enough to make a 45” single arc style wallhanging with nine rings. 1 1/4 yd. for Centers and Small Melons 1 3/8 yd. for Single Arcs (if you are using two fabrics for single arcs instead of one, bring ¾ yd. each fabric.) 1/4 yd. each of 2 colors for Four Patch Corners Optional: 1 1/4 yd. fabric that serves as borders. The completed quilt is appliquéd to foundation to avoid curved binding and to provide a nice finish.
