Silhouette of America updated their software June 2017. The new software is now a bit easier to navigate and learn. Bring your laptop and your Silhouette Cameo and we’ll have a day class dedicated to mastering your machine.
To make the best use of your Cameo machine I suggest that you purchase the additional Designer Edition software. Is will make editing easier and you will be able to open SVG files. You can purchase it on https://www.silhouetteamerica.com/shop/STUDIODESIGNER for $50. And it worth every penny.
This will be my first Silhouette dedicated class. I want this to be a hands-on class so you will need to bring your laptop and your Silhouette Cameo machine new or old to the class. Be sure to update your Silhouette Cameo software to the latest version before coming to the class, your home internet will be faster than doing it in class. We’ll spend time getting familiar with all the useful features in the software that apply to making applique template.
In this class, I will cover how to work with other patterns you have purchased, what is the easiest way to scan, save and edit those patterns.
Learn about which formats work the best PDF, SVG, and JPG files and how to edit each type of file and which one works the best for you.
I will supply you with PDF, JPG, SVG and scanned images to work with in class and handouts with the step by step process for cutting your applique templates.
We’ll explore Replicate, Modify, Transform and other features and how to use them for your applique.
